Other Elements used: Black gesso, clear crackle paint, black ink pad, Pebbles Chalk -Precious Metal Shades, & Pearlescent Jewel Tones, Prills-Lemon Chiffon, Black Corrugated Paper

Here are some close ups...
For the paper layers, I used the same sheet " Blue Petals-BS", I cut it about a inch & 1/2 in from the outside edges, distressed the edges & inked the edges, using a black ink pad. I then glued the pieces onto black cardstock & hand stitched them together...
I also used 2 of the 6x6 sheet of the Blue Petals-BS, to cover the sign, & glue behind the ornate corners.
I rubbed in blue & yellow tones of chalk, onto the black corrugated paper & glued it under the top & the bottom of the outside edges, of the background...
I painted all of the layered embellishments with clear gesso, then applied a thin coat of clear crackle. Once the crackle had dried I rubbed on some blue chalk.
The Floral Mixology were altered, by rubbing some yellow chalk into the centers, then gluing the lemon chiffon prills onto the centers...
All the chipboard was primed with black gesso, except for the word play, then some of the pieces were painted with clear crackle. Once the crackle dried I repainted the pieces with the black gesso, to remove the shine then rubbed in blue & yellow tones of chalk...
Here are a few more close ups...

Here are some close ups...

I altered the Floral Mixology , by using beads & glass glitter for the flower centers of the white ones, & spritzing  the blue flowers with the whale watch blue & gluing on Prills-Mini Pearls as the flower centers...
On the back ground I did some distressed paper layers, hand stitching, stamp work using Gabbi's Daisy Stamp, & some stencil work...
The chipboard was primed with black gesso, for the dark colors used & clear gesso for the white. I then painted some of the pieces, with the white crackle paint or clear crackle. Once the clear crackle dried I painted the pieces with the whale watch blue, let dry & rubbed in chalk to bring out the cracks...

Thank you so much for taking the time to look...Rachelle
